Spot House Restaurant and Bar: A Flavorful Voyage into Vietnamese Cuisine

I ate here on 12/25/25 and loved it! I ordered the beef pho, and it was delicious. The broth was flavorful, and since I like a little extra heat, I added chili oil—perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back. Our waitress was wonderful: kind, attentive, and welcoming, which really made the experience stand out. It’s hard to find a truly good place to eat in North County, and this one is a gem!

I was a bit skeptical when my friend recommended this spot, especially because he knows I'm a big fan of Thai food, and the menu here is a unique mix of American bar food and Thai dishes. The restaurant itself looks like any other bar in a strip mall—nothing too flashy, but sometimes those hidden gems surprise you. I decided to go for the pho dac beit and was pleasantly surprised! The broth was rich, beautifully complex, and had an incredible depth of flavor that made each bite satisfying. I couldn't stop slurping it up, and it definitely showed the chef knows their way around a bowl of pho. While I didn't get a chance to try anything else on the menu this time, I'll definitely be back to explore more. It’s not the kind of place you’d expect to find such flavorful dishes, but that's exactly why it’s worth another visit. If you’re in the mood for something a little different, give this spot a try!

We loved there spring rolls - best we’ve ever had. Also the noodle dish with grilled shrimp, pork and vermicelli with fresh vegetables and fish sauce is so good. They many types of American and some Mexican cuisine too. Something for everyone.

The food was amazing. I didn't come for bar food. My visit was for the Vietnamese food. They did not disappoint. I had the Pho Dac Biet.. Something amazing about an authentic Vietnamese Pho that warms the soul. I recommend this place if you want authenticity and quality this is your spot. They offer other options in American food but I am not sure if I will ever try it as this establishments food reminds me of my travels through Vietnam. Enjoy!

This is the best bowl of pho I’ve ever had and the spring roll with pork sausage had me smiling

Food was generally good. We got the Bun Bo Hue (it was pretty good, but the pig foot was not very tender), Pho Dac Biet (it was fine), and the Com Dac Biet (the pork chop tasted funny). Maybe I got unlucky today, but will try again some other time.

I have to admit that I have known about this place for quite a while and just never gave it a chance. I now regret that mindset greatly. I've just had one of the best meals that I've had in a long time. But let's back up and go over the basics. First off, if you're looking for "Take-out Chinese Food", you're looking in the wrong place. This place offers the oddest combo of American, Mexican, and Vietnamese good I've ever seen. Honestly though, you're cheating yourself if you get the American or Mexican dishes. These are just there for the picky eaters. The real treasure here is the genuine Vietnamese food. I can can say that I've had the pleasure of eating at several Vietnamese restaurants, but to have this gold mine in Florissant is a real treat. The atmosphere is an odd combo of Asian and Sports Bar. It has a cozy feel, thats a bit hard to describe. Not fancy for sure. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful. My soda stayed full the entire time. They were a little slow from time to time, but not to the point where I felt like I was forgotten. The food!!! OMG, my wife and I were taking turns eating a bite from our dish and then just sighing in happiness. I was genuinely sad when I ran out, but that's probably for the best because the helpings are generous. Needless to say, I'll be returning regularly.
